These short term training programs are included in the curriculum of the 1-2 year course program such as: Ship Stewarding (1 year), Cruise-Ship Liner Services ( 2 years), Hotel and Restaurant Services (2 years). All these offered courses could provide opportunities for work onboard ships or hotels except the Crewing and Manning Services that prepares students for work in a sea-based employment agency office.
The short-term training programs are all accredited in TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) a Philippine government body task to inspect , monitor and accredit an educational institution offering 1-2 years technical vocational courses. Any walk-in students desiring to take only the short-term training program are allowed and could be issued a certificate of completion after the training. Thereafter ,the students are assisted to undergo an assessment test so that they could be assessed of their gained skills and be issued a National Certification (NC I or NC II) by the government under TESDA.
